We Need a Sweet Treat

I felt we needed a sweet treat today.  Seeing it we are in November, I thought we need to look at Christmas cards and what is more perfect than candy canes. Stampin’ Up! gave us the Sweetest Time stamp set.  Use the candy canes with the border or without. Either way, you have an adorable card.

You Make the Change

I am trying to use some of my older Designer Series Paper.  However, you can change the paper with the current print Designer Series Paper on page 150 in the Annual Catalog. I used 2019-2020 with the Terracotta Tile Color.  The leaves are the same color as Pumpkin Pie for the Pumpkin.

I can think of several friends who would enjoy receiving this card. It is one that will work for Thinking of You or Thanksgiving as many of us will be apart.  This stamp set is just perfect because it has the stamp set and dies. Then look at the words in the set.  This is one complete stamp set you will be always reaching for.

Walking In the Woods

I love Winter and the walks in the woods.  The sound of the crunch of the fresh snow on the trail.  This is what I think of when I created this card.  I used the stamp set “In the Pines” and the dies.  By the dies, you will use well beyond the Holidays.  I love the curved dies to create the ground. This was part of the Wednesday Technique Video.  You can find the link here   It was an important technique because I forgot to use it on my first card. Yes, even I can make mistakes.  If you don’t use this technique on Vellum, you will have the glue showing through.

I think the Vellum really makes this Chalk Marker. It is in the current catalog on page 147.  I used the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder on this card.  I feel details are what make the card.
