First I want apologize for my absences yesterday. I woke up on Wednesday with a very bad migraine. I have not had one in a long time. So I was unprepared for our Wednesday technique. I have had several people ask about Embossing Paste. They were wondering if it is retiring and answer is no. So I thought it is a perfect time to dig into the vault of previous videos.

These videos were done over a year ago, but are worth refreshing your memory. The first video is from Stampin’ Up! and the next three are mine. I hope you will get your Embossing Paste and start thinking what can you use it for. I hope you are not too tired of Pop of Petals. I have another card for you. I think that I love this stamp set with the punch is because it can make stamping a breeze. You can always make your projects as complicated as you want or quick and simple. I did the latter today because I really want some extra stamping time.

You know with the beautiful Designer Series Paper you can make your card look extra special without all the work. I went back to one of my favorites…. Garden Impressions which will be retiring. If you have not ordered that Designer Series Paper, do it today as you will find it very versatile paper. Remember to get those reinkers. I am glad I rechecked my reinkers.

Piercing Mat

Before you know it the 2018-2019 Catalog will be gone. You have a little over three weeks before that chapter closes. Have you purchased all the retired items you want? I know I have not and I am in the process of finishing up my last order for this catalog. In case you are wondering what left off, I needed a couple of the retiring reinkers and a couple of stamp sets. So make sure you have ordered the retiring Stampin’ Up! color’s products. This includes cardstock, reinkers, Designer Series Paper, and embellishment like ribbon and sequins. Today’s card is taking a second look at some of the retiring colors and a stamp set. I used Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, and Lemon-Lime Twist with the stamp set Climbing Orchids. This stamp set is one that I have not used a lot. It really was very easy to make . The embossing folder I chose to use was Layered Leaves which is not retiring.

I chose not to put a greeting on the card. So this makes the card an any occasion card. I like to think of this as a concept card because you use for any occasion and change the colors. Also, the thought it would be a prefect for this week’s Challenge. I do hope you will participate in this week’s Challenge. The rules are very simple and there is a drawing the first of the next month for the previous month.
