I hope you are not too tired of Pop of Petals.  I have another card for you.  I think that I love this stamp set with the punch is because it can make stamping a breeze.  You can always make your projects as complicated as you want or quick and simple. I did the latter today because I really want some extra stamping time.

You know with the beautiful Designer Series Paper you can make your card look extra special without all the work.  I went back to one of my favorites…. Garden Impressions which will be retiring.  If you have not ordered that Designer Series Paper, do it today as you will find it very versatile paper.  Remember to get those reinkers.  I am glad I rechecked my reinkers.

Today’s card is taking a second look at some of the retiring colors and a stamp set.  I used Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, and Lemon-Lime Twist with the stamp set Climbing Orchids. This stamp set is one that I have not used a lot.  It really was very easy to make . The embossing folder I chose to use was Layered Leaves which is not retiring.

I chose not to put a greeting on the card.  So this makes the card an any occasion card. I like to think of this as a concept card because you use for any occasion and change the colors.  Also, the thought it would be a prefect for this week’s Challenge. I do hope you will participate in this week’s Challenge.  The rules are very simple and there is a drawing the first of the next month for the previous month.

Multiple Use Card Fold Video

Don’t you love Card Fold Friday?  Having different card folds that are available for different occasions and I have another one here for you. this is a Double Z Fold and it quite simple to do, but gives you a special look. The receiver will think you spent hours on creating this card. Remember how I like to think of this as a concept card because you can use it for any occasion.

I have a friend in one of my groups that is dealing with breast cancer.  So I thought would be fitting to use Ribbon of Courage stamp set.  I choose the retiring Berry Burst for the color as it is perfect for breast cancer.  When it is difficult times I feel an encouraging card with color helps to make the spirits bright in more ways than one.

Here are the measurements:

Base 4 1/4″ x 11″     Score at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″    Solid color cardstock

Insert piece for on top of base   2 1/2″ x 4″  and  4″ x 5″    Whisper White cardstock

Strip

4″ x 11″ Solid color cardstock  3 3/4″ x 10 3/4″ Whisper White cardstock

Score at 2 3/4″  and 5 1/2″  Match these strips and adhere together.
