Decked Out in Its Finest

I have been working on two different stamp sets and can’t figure out which one I like better.  Can you tell me whether you like Incredible Like You or Bloom by Bloom?  I think the leaves on this one are interesting.  Please compare the leaves and think about which one you like. I suppose you could mix the leaves and flowers.  This one has a two-step process and the other does not. However, if you struggle matching up your image, just use your Stamparatus.  It can be a lifesaver.  I put the other stamp set on my Facebook page so you can compare the two stamp sets. Remember either one of these stamp sets and designs will work for multiple occasions.

Before we explore the card,  I want to invite you to Facebook Live on Tuesday, January 15th at 2 o’clock.  We are going to explore the Occasions Catalog with projects.  So go to my Stampin Pink Rose Facebook page at that time.

This card has a nice amount to catch your eye because of the texture.  I used the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.  This was in the Holiday Catalog 2018 but is being carried over.  I love these embossing folders because they are easy to use and add texture to your project.  I do have one tip for using it. Spritzer you cardstock lightly.  Don’t over saturate it.  However, it will prevent it from ripping.  Also, I added just a little Silver Glimmer paper.

Time for a Pocket of Love

Welcome to the Pals monthly blog hop. We’re so glad you’re here! January is all about making “Art from the Heart,” featuring projects for Valentines Day, Thinking of You, Get Well, or Sympathy. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Today is the first Blog Hop of the new year. The theme is Valentine’s Day and so here is a pocket of love. Instead of a vase of flowers, I thought I would deliver my hearts in a jean pocket.  I hope you didn’t forget about the stamp set Pocket Full of Sunshine in the Annual Catalog.  Then I paired it with the framelits from the Meant to Be Suite.  Oh, you are wondering about the love on the pocket.  It is from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.  For the inside simply stamp the words “Happy Valentine’s Day” from the Meant to Be stamp set.
