Taking Flight

Stampin’ Up! Friendship or Hello card made with Lift Me Up and In the City stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com and etsy cardstrulyheart

Do you ever start or do a card you don’t like?  This is one, but I am letting it take flight anyway.  To me, it looks a little amateur.  I would be interested in your thoughts.  I wanted to play more with the new Embossing Paste. Hence the clouds today as yesterday I used the brick wall mask.  The bottom of the card needed something so in comes the houses from In the City stamp set. It is a hostess set.  I wanted the houses colorful like the ones along the canals in Amsterdam.

Adding Interest…..Technique

Stampin’ Up! Birthday card made with Wings stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com and etsycardstrulyheart

Would you like a simple way to add interest to your project?  Stampin’ Up! has come out with an Embossing Paste that makes adding texture which gives your project so easy.  Notice in the card above that the brick wall is raised. Watch this video to see how quick and easy it is to do.

For my card, I just simply used the brick mask with the embossing paste.  This showcased my Watercolor Wings butterfly. Add a happy birthday from Milestone Moments. My card was done. How simple is that! You can order any of these products by clicking here https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/Default.aspx   The embossing paste is #141979 and the Palette Knives #142808.
