WOW Wednesday Organizer Plus

Today I am going to show you a simple way to keep track of all those little pieces in your framelits.  Plus and easy way to glue without the mess. So watch the video and enjoy the card afterwards.

I can’t resist giving you this card even though it doesn’t fit with the tool of the week.  The Cherry Blossoms are in bloom in Washington DC.  They are gorgeous so here is my card to as a symbol of friendship.  You know they were given to the United States from Japan as friendship. By the way if you have not figured out the stamp, it is Sheltering Tree and the greetings was Butterfly Basics.

Have you met the Stampin’ Up! Jungle?  Come explore the Stampin’ Up Jungle!   Where the critters are king.  I have made two cards for you today from Playful Pals. I am thinking about creating a play date for anyone interested in working on this bundle. You know you can do more than cards with the dies.  Tomorrow you will be getting a video to help you be organized with your framelits.

Tips

Stamps: Playful Pals, Suite Sayings

I have to say these critters are cuter than I expected and so much fun to work with.  When you order don’t forget to bundle and save 15%.

Embellishment: 3/8″ Satin Ribbon Melon Mambo, It’s My Party Candy Dots

Those Candy Dots are so versatile that you can use it in so many ways. I know the Occasions Catalog shows it as birthday, but take it out of that context and use your imagination.

Color Combination:  Melon Mambo,  Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate

I personally love the Melon Mambo with gray.  The lion needs contrast with the two yellows so I used the Delightful Dijon for the darker shade.

Ink:  Melon Mambo, Archival Black including marker, Crushed Curry, Delightful Dijon

Paper:  It’s My Party Designer Paper, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate

Again, I am using my favorite paper.  I am aware it is a little pricey, but well worth. I am finding it great for other themes than birthdays. Think with the size of the paper how many cuttings you can get for your cards. It is less than a $1 a sheet and top quality.  This doesn’t count punches.

Accessories: Playful Pals Dies, Big shot

Here is a video from Stampin’ Up to show you how much fun this stamp set is to use.

I am sorry forgot on the picture above this the Whisper White cardstock.

Take a look at these cards and see if you can tell me what is the tool of the week? If you said embellishment you are right and if you said ribbon you are half right. This should be a fun week of ideas because Stampin’ Up! provides us with so many different embellishments.

Tips

Stamp Set:  Today’s stamp is coming from the Occasions Catalog.  I chose to use Picture Perfect and Timeless Texture.  With this stamp set you can choose the Hummingbird or the Starfish. The Timeless Textures is a great background stamp. The friend is from Bloomin Love.

Accessories:  Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim, 1 1/4″ Burlap Ribbon, Metallic Baker’s Twine (gold), Tea Lace Paper Dollies, Wink of Stella (gold), 5/8″ Striped Cotton Ribbon (Tangelo Twist), Dimensionals

Color Combination:  Go Wild Designer Series Pack, Crumb Cake cardstock, Whisper White,Tangelo Twist cardstock

I think the shade of beige goes well with the Bermuda Bay and it is a great sea color. Just think of the deep blue water.  For the other card I used the Tangelo Twist because for me it is a perfect for a starfish.

Ink:   Tangelo Twist, Bermuda Bay

I guess I am just longing for the warmer weather.
