WOW Wednesday – Reflection

DSC_0684 Reflection

Today is another WOW Wednesday and the theme is reflection and no I don’t mean your reflection.  We are using In the Meadow stamp set which has the beautiful deer and my favorite the mountains.  However, we are not using the mountains today. So sad!  This is a great stamp for your nature people or the men in your life. Watch the video and see how easy it is with a few bumps in the road to make a reflection.

If you are curious about the colors they were Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, and Soft Sky (top to bottom).  The sun was Daffodil Delight and the deer in Archival  Black ink.  The number for In the Meadow is #140754 which is in the Occasion Catalog.  You can place your order on this site.   Don’t forget to use the Hostess Code.  I hope you enjoy this idea which also work on the Wetlands Stamp.

DSC_0682 Pedal the Metal

Lets put the petal to the metal with having an extra day means we have a chance to find some stamping time.  You know I love extra time!  My Stampin’ Up! Pedal Pusher stamp came in last Friday.  So I created this card over the weekend. A bicycle is perfect for just about anyone and the colors can be what every whatever you want them to be.  Also, this card is great for a bicycle user or bringing back memories of years past.   So this is a great generic card. It truly will put smiles on faces.

Remember this stamp is part of the FREE stamps when you spend at least $50 you can get this stamp FREE.  So don’t miss this opportunity because it is only good till March 31st.  You can order right on my site and use the Hostess Code.

If you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter, this is the time to do it.  Tomorrow I will be bringing you another Stampin’ Up! Pedal Pusher card so you can get more mileage out of the stamp.  If you aren’t familiar with my newsletter, you get all kinds of tips and news plus a FREE PDF and it goes out every Tuesday. This design  and PDF is available only through the newsletter.

Card Folding 101 – Fancy Fold

DSC_0679 Fancy Fold Part I

Tried the plain old style of cards you make.  Fear not Super Card Maker is here to save the day with a Fancy Fold Card.  Every Friday I am going to have a video with a card showing a different card fold.  So lets get out of the rut and change things up.

This card uses the Stampin’ Up! Balloon Occasions stamp set and  It’s My Party Series Paper Stack.  You have to check out this paper because it is so versitile and not just for birthdays.  Yes, it has birthday paper, but it also has strips and dots.  Think about Get Well and Thinking About You cards.

So here is the video that will guide you thorough the process.  For the flap you will need a 5″ x 5 1/2″ piece of cardstock folded at 1/2″ and marked at the 2 3/4″ around 3 sides.  So watch the video and see how simple it is to make a Fancy Fold card.

Here is another view of the card.

I am giving you a supply list for this style card plus the supplies I used to make this particular card.  For all Fancy Fold cards you will need your trimmer with scoring and Square Framelit.

If you need help ordering, please contact at pamela@stampinpinkrose.com or you can order right now at the order button.  Don’t forget to use the Hostess Code!  Now let us see what you can make with the Fancy Fold. Also, reminder to check under events for classes.  We have a lot of fun!
