All Is Well

If you have been listening to the National News, you have heard we had a major tornado outbreak in Central Iowa.  I don’t know where to begin.  First of all, I was at a Craft Show at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in a large building when the sirens went off on my phone.  We were directed into a shelter. No problem. I already knew there were problems because my son called me that they were taking shelter.

You see they live in Winterset.  The tornado missed their house by half a mile. It zagged and missed the town of Winterset.  So they were fine but shaken up. Remember they have an almost 3-year-old and 1 1/2 year old.  Tragically two children (2 years old and 5 years old) were visiting their grandparents from Missouri were killed.  Also, Dad and grandma were killed.  Mom and another sibling were injured. Mom is in serious condition. Please say a prayer for the family. Winterset lost 2 others also.

Des Moines on the south sustained damage, but the rest of the city was spared.

So let us get back to card making.  I have a busy week, but I am here to help. Next week I will be taking a break.  The newsletter will go out as usual. I am planning a Facebook Live on Tuesday at 2 0’clock (CT).  I truly believe I have my problem with Facebook Live solved. Remember I am using a new service to stream it.  Don’t forget if you want the Daffodil Daydream Online Class the deadline is Friday.  Don’t wait.

Don’t forget with a $30 order on any Stampin’ Up! products you can get the kit and PDF free. However, you must email me you put an order in. pamela@stampinpinkrose.com

Through the Forest

One cutest easiest card to make is the Grassy Grove Bundle.  Notice I didn’t say stamp set. You need the Grove Dies to make this card. Yes, it takes the Cut and Emboss Machine, but right now you can get the Mini Cut and Emboss Machine 20% off.  If you were smart and joined Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator you receive your discount which is another $12.00 off it. So this is the time to act because it is only while supplies last.

Don’t ignore the other stamp set bundles on sale too. Just Click Here for a complete list of special bundles.

For this card notice that I used the beautiful Horizons Designer Series Paper as the background.  You have many choices on background with this paper. It is a great addition to your paper.
