All Is Well

If you have been listening to the National News, you have heard we had a major tornado outbreak in Central Iowa. I don’t know where to begin. First of all, I was at a Craft Show at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in a large building when the sirens went off on my phone. We were directed into a shelter. No problem. I already knew there were problems because my son called me that they were taking shelter.

You see they live in Winterset. The tornado missed their house by half a mile. It zagged and missed the town of Winterset. So they were fine but shaken up. Remember they have an almost 3-year-old and 1 1/2 year old. Tragically two children (2 years old and 5 years old) were visiting their grandparents from Missouri were killed. Also, Dad and grandma were killed. Mom and another sibling were injured. Mom is in serious condition. Please say a prayer for the family. Winterset lost 2 others also.

Des Moines on the south sustained damage, but the rest of the city was spared.

So let us get back to card making. I have a busy week, but I am here to help. Next week I will be taking a break. The newsletter will go out as usual. I am planning a Facebook Live on Tuesday at 2 0’clock (CT). I truly believe I have my problem with Facebook Live solved. Remember I am using a new service to stream it.
