Let Spring Begin with Kylie’s Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am thrilled to be taking part in a blog hop with fellow demonstrators, from around the world, who are part of Kylie Bertucci’s training program. There is no theme for the hop, but there is sure to be a wealth of inspiration for creating with Stampin’ Up! products.

If you are in the Midwest you are asking Spring to begin and stay.  It makes a shot appearance and then disappearances. I wonder what the plants are thinking.  I know the Tulips want Spring to stay.

 

So, for now, we will need to count on Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips to bring Spring.  May I suggest a heart each way.  I have the heart here for you.  Yes, I used a heart as my part of the background.  The other part was the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper.  Sorry, it is retired. Just choose some other colorful paper.

Look No Inside Fold

This is a standard A2 card, but it folds totally differently.  You only need half of an A cut.  What the video and you will see what I mean. Measurements and supplies below the video.

 

Paper: Remember I always use Whisper White as my base.

  • Whisper White 2″ x 5 1/2″ (2)
  • Cardstock (your color choice)  4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″,  1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (2)

Specialty Paper:

  • Vellum  5 1/4″ x 9 3/4″

Embellishment:  What embellishment do you like to use?

  • Ribbon (your choice)

Score Vellum at 4″ and 7″

Where Is Spring?

Are you having Spring weather?   We had 83 degrees the other day and now we are reverting back to more winter-like weather.  Okay, maybe not that bad, but it is forty degrees cooler and the wind is howling.  Just maybe this card will bring Spring back or at least Spring thoughts.

I absolutely love the Timeless Tulip stamp set.  To me Tulips symbolize Spring. We have a large Tulip Festival in Pella every May. Unfortunately, it has been canceled. I used a color that I rarely use …..  Soft Sea Foam. I think it added some softness to the card.

Stampin Pink Rose News   Deadline Approaching

Please note I am offering choices to make stamping easier.  There is a deadline to get Option #1 and note NO ORDERS are available to receive the PDF and videos until the deadline.  So if you choose PDF only you will not get this any earlier.  Once the deadline comes I will process the orders which will take approximately 4 days to cut and package.  So here are your options.
   We are making 4 cards with a special fold that is easy to do.
