After dismal news over the weekend, I think it is time for a cheery card. What better than Rise and Shine stamp set. I know the first thing I grab in the morning is my coffee. My choice is Dunkin. What is your choice?

Speaking of choices what stamp set will you miss when Sale-a-bration ends? I know for me that it is a hard choice. I loved Happy Birthday to You (including dies), but I also love the Ladybug with dies. Yet Rise and Shine I will be using long after it ends. We are unprecedented times and many of us are at home. Some of you have followed me on a regular basis and others have just discovered me. so welcome everyone. Time for Cheery Thoughts

I hope everyone is being safe. I understand this is tough times, but we can do things to help with the stress by keeping busy. I have heard from some who are cleaning closets, reorganizing and others of us have found solace in stamping. Remember as we are not able to hang around with each other, we can keep thoughts going for friends and family. So send cheery thoughts and a smile there way.

Why not use the new Rise and Shine stamp set to connect and bring a smile into their home. Why don’t you have your children make a bunch of cards and sign with “thoughts coming your way.” Place these in a large envelope and send them to a nursing home. Ask them to post them up or place each one in an individual envelope. Write on the envelope “to a friend.” You always call a nursing home and ask which is better.

As we are now winding now Sale-a-bration, I think its time to reflect on the great stamp sets that were in the brochure. So today is one of the newer ones Rise and Shine. I keep using this stamp set long after it retires. I can use it with Cup of Cheer Dies that came out at Christmas. Tomorrow will be a card fold using one of the retiring ones. Remember Sale-a-bration ends March 31st.
