Do you have someone in your life that is a classic?  I have one that is truly a classic.  It is my oldest son that is having a birthday today.  So I decided to gear up with this new stamp set. It is so great to have a new masculine stamp set.  Have you checked out the Geared Up Garage stamp set?  It is on page 43 of the Occasions Catalog. I sponged the gears with a little black to give it the effect of grease.

Time for Apology and Technique Video Request

First I need to apologize. I goofed on my Monday post.  I forgot to put something on the post.  It was on my planner. So I need to pay closer attention to it.  This year I am doing a definition of a papercraft term every Monday.  So here is today’s term. Big Shot.

 

 

As I mention in the newsletter, I had a request for the Bleach Technique.  So here is a video showing using Bleach.  Then watch for the Technique Newsletter with Step by Step Instructions.  I have this set up a little different today.

Do you have a favorite Occasion item or maybe something from the Sale-a-bration? I do.  It is the 5 packet of ribbon that you supposedly could choose for FREE.  However, I have bad news. I am Dreaming of Spring with a Spring Card

I have the perfect card for this day.  Okay, maybe it is not as bad as the picture.  We have ice moving in and followed by up to 6 inches of snow with wind. We are under a Winter Storm Warning which we were not under last night.  My understanding is downhill all day.  All the schools in the Metro are canceled.  This is our third or fourth storm in less than 3 weeks.  I am tired of it!

So I created this card and I know I am pushing it.  However, the stamp set is in the Occasion’s Catalog and I have a goal of working with all the new stamps I have received.  So why wait for warmer weather to use the stamp set Fable Friends.  I think these geese are just too cute! Don’t you agree?  I don’t know where they are going in their finest, but I would like to join them.  If you would like another idea, sign up for my newsletter. I stamped the geese and then colored them with my Blends. We don’t have Grapefruit Grove Blends so I used Calypso Coral. I think the color works just fine with the Grapefruit Grove Gingham Designer Series Paper.
