Share Some Tea Time and More

Warming up with my tea.  With the big chill, I thought how appropriate it is to use the new Tea Together Stamp set.  Why not warm up while sharing together some tea time and maybe some paper crafting.  I was not sure about this set, but I think it is so beautiful.  Stampin’ Up! has offered tea stamps before, but never with framelits.   No, it is not a bundle. You can have it FREE when you order $50 of product from any of the Stampin’ Up! catalogs. I think we all like free.

This card I added layers to add interest. So I started with neutral cardstock and added a color that goes great with gray….navy blue.  However, I just didn’t add a layer.  I chose to cut it out of the Florentine Thinlits.  My next was the teapot which I did in white. Colors were not working,  I added the flower in a light blue cardstock.  However, I did not like the teapot just sitting on the Florentine piece.  So I added Doily from the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies in white.

I am still looking at it and wonder if I should have made it in light blue instead?  So I would love your comments below this post.  You are going to find this stamp set will work for different occasions.  I think the framelits are a must.

We Are Stretching Into a Technique Video

I hope you caught my little bit of crazy humor.  Notice I said stretching.  No, we are not doing exercises, but we are using rubber bands to add interest to our card.  Did you know you can create with rubber bands?  It adds different interest to your card.  Remember you are not doing it all over the project.  Come watch the video and then watch for the newsletter with a project with this technique.  If you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter, do so now by signing up below this video.
