This stamp set that is being offered in August only from Stampin’ Up! is being one of my favorites.  I am referring to Blended Seasons.  This is the second time I have used the flowers and have not even gotten to the framelits or leaves in the stamp set.  You will find this as a go-to stamp set for many an occasion.  I chose to use one of the new colors. . . Highland Heather with Rich Razzleberry.  Purple is her favorite color. Do think my friend will like this card?  I will see her today when we golf.  Purple is her favorite color.

I do need to warn you that I used two retired embossing folders, but there many other ones that would be perfect for this card.  Consider using Garden Trellis, Scattered Sequins, or Sparkle.*  By the way, if you are not a colorer, using the Blends makes coloring a breeze. Pick up a pair of them today! Remember when you order in August you will receive Bonus Bucks with every $50 you spend.

Technique Wednesday Thumbing

Treasured Memories in Glass

I treasure my memories in the smaller churches as a child.  There was something always special and more intimate.  I go to one of the largest churches around and the pastors are great, but I do miss the other.  Okay, you wondering what this has to do with today’s card. I just got the Painted Glass stamp set with paper in and have started to play with it.  So I thought I would create a card using it and the Blends.  This Designer Series Paper is what reminds of the churches with the stained glass windows.  I want to show you a great video about this Stampin’ Up! Suite and what all you can do with it.  Remember I used Blends, but you don’t have to as there are other options.
