I think the Petal Palette stamp set makes absolutely beautiful thank you cards.  However, I personally like to step up the cards and one way you can step up that card is by embossing it.  Adding an embossed piece does so much for the card and says you really appreciated their actions.  Truthfully there nothing more beautiful than using red and black colors.

What Is Birthday Without Cake?

What is a birthday without cake?  You can’t make a wish without the cake and candle.  It doesn’t matter whether it is the birthday cake or a cupcake. I used the Sweet Sugarplum for the cupcake. However, I used the Rich Razzleberry for the flower. This allows me to use the Blends.  By the way, take a look close behind the cupcake.  There is something stamped behind the cupcake.

There are three things besides taxes that happen in life…. babies, weddings, and death.   At some point, we all need one of these cards.  Unfortunately for me, I need a sympathy card.  My cousin had been trying to get a hold of me yesterday to no avail.  Between work and golf, I was not around and she didn’t have my cell phone number.  So this morning I found an email to telling me her mom had passed away.  They had just put her in hospice and knew the time was coming to say goodbye.  She was my mother’s sister-in-law and this leaves my mother’s brother as the last living siblings of eight.  It is so sad to see that generation leaving us.

I found the perfect stamp that was in the Occasions Catalog and will be in the Annual Catalog.  So if you didn’t get it, you will have another chance.  The stamp set I am referring to is Southern Serenade.  You will find this stamp set so versatile that you will be reaching for it.
