Sending Comfort

Unfortunately, there are times when we need to send a card and we don’t know what to say.  So offering comfort is the best.   This is especially true with cancer.  Ribbon of Courage offers you a chance to show you care. It has beautiful words and all you need to do is supply the correct color. We all know pink is breast cancer, but there are other colors. Here is a few.

By the way, lung cancer is white.  I would use colored paper that goes with each cancer to make my ribbon.  Note:  I categorized it as a Thinking of You.  We like to think of it positive.

Using Your Embossing Folder

Stampin’ Up! Birthday card made with Beautiful You stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinkpinkrose #etsycardstrulyheart

We have so many choices on Stampin’ Up! Embossing Folders, but how many use the same embossing folder over and over again? I know that sometimes that particular embossing folder gets used for a certain stamp. I know one in particular, maybe because of the name….Seaside.  I grab stamp sets like Seaside Shore for that embossing folder because of the wave look. Well, today we are going a totally different direction.  I used it as the background for Beautiful You.   I think she looks beautiful on the Crushed Curry card stock for the background.  Naturally, an accent of black will give the finishing touches.
