What Is Your Season?

squirrel-snowball

We received our first snow today. Not much, but it was pretty falling.  I was having a leisure morning after a busy craft season and came upon this picture.  I thought it was so cute.  I don’t know what your favorite season is. Whatever  the season,  we need to enjoy it as it will past quickly. However, the card I created for the Global Design Project is anything,or winter/ Christmas.

As you can see it is a bed of flowers with a bee coming for a visit.  So for those that do not experience or appreciate the season changes,  time will past quickly and spring will be here. So for you the flowers will need to be your savior.

Christmas is not Christmas without the Poinsettia.  My mother must have had over eight Poinsettia all through the house. So that is why I love the Poinsettia for the holidays.  In case you are wondering, I will have them all over the house too. The flower is so easy to create with the Flower Builder Punch. Watch the video and learn how you too can create a beautiful flower.

See the Special Trees

Stampin’ Up! Christmas card with Santa’s Sleigh stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinkpinkrose #etsycardstrulyheart

What goes with Santa’s sleigh and packages?  Bows.  Instead of bowing the packages, I bowed the sleigh and the trees.  Add a touch white ink and you have the effects of snow. The add a Wink of Stella to make them glimmer.  So here is a perfect winter scene.  Hopefully, this will help brighten Christmas spirits as you continue your shopping and fill your sleigh.  Don’t forget today is Stampin’ Up! last day of the Online Extravaganza Sale.  Special prices were posted for the sale today .  Just click here to see what is on sale  https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/Default.aspx

Special Note:  For the trees I stamped in Basic Gray and then Whisper White ink.  Afterwards, I added some white touches with my White Gel Pen.  The final touch was the Clear Wink of Stella.
