Using Your Embossing Folder

Stampin’ Up! Birthday card made with Beautiful You stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinkpinkrose #etsycardstrulyheart

We have so many choices on Stampin’ Up! Embossing Folders, but how many use the same embossing folder over and over again? I know that sometimes that particular embossing folder gets used for a certain stamp. I know one in particular, maybe because of the name….Seaside.  I grab stamp sets like Seaside Shore for that embossing folder because of the wave look. Well, today we are going a totally different direction.  I used it as the background for Beautiful You.   I think she looks beautiful on the Crushed Curry card stock for the background.  Naturally, an accent of black will give the finishing touches.

Who Is Your Classic?

Stampin’ Up! Father’s Day card made with Guy Greeting stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinkpinkrose #etsycardstrulyheart

I ask “who is your classic” because Sunday is Father’s Day.  I don’t do many specifically Father’s Day cards because my father has been gone over twenty years.  I miss him dearly.  However, this card I created would work for Father’s Day or a birthday depending what sentiment you put inside. I was thrilled to see the Guy Greeting stamp set was carried over.  It is a wonderful masculine stamp set.

This card was very simple to do because of the new wood grain paper called Wood Textures.  It was a matter of a few cuttings and using your layering circles.

Don’t forget to get the Updates at the bottom.
