Sheltering Tree Spotlight V

I apologize not getting this segment done, but I had two emergencies when I got home from work.  This followed me for the weekend.  So now the problems are solved.  However, I had chosen to do a video with a card that had snow in it.  I am thinking everyone is tried of winter.  So what I am going to do is post that video on "Let's Have Fun" under Ideas and Tutorials.  You are still getting an embossing card.  Just not a video.  Also, if you to join the VIP Group you will find under Ideas a list of PFD files that I will email you. You must be a VIP to receive these. I am just starting this process so be patient.  This will include more Stampin' Up! Sheltering Tree ideas.

This card uses the Stampin' Up! wood grain embossing folder. The paper is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and I used Blushing Bride paper.  The Whisper White cardstock is 3 3/4" x 4 3/4".  Remember I use white cardstock for my base and then added the emboss paper.  I stamped the leaves with VersaMark and use Blushing Bride Embossing powder sprinkled over it on the Whisper White cardstock.  Then heat you your embossing gun.  Wrap green twine around the grass.  It is not Stampin' Up! Adhere to your pink emboss paper.  I have chosen to list this under Birthday, but it could be used for many different occasions.

Sheltering Tree Spotlight IV

Here is day four on Sheltering Tree Series.  I have stepped this up a notch, but it is not that difficult. This presentation is a little different because I have done a video for this particular card.  It is a Thank you card. Obviously, you could change the greeting to fit you needs.

Sheltering Tree Spotlight III

This is our third card in my Sheltering Tree Series from Stampin' Up!  I am focusing on a birthday card today.  Probably this is the most popular and needed card.  Personally, I think the most fun of all the different type of cards to make.  So let's get started.

I hope you enjoy the third card in the Sheltering Tree Series.  Again, I am using the vertical stamping of this card.. It   measures4 1/4"  x 5 1/2".    The color focus is Wild Wasabi paper which is your base, Early Espresso,  paper and Whisper White paper on top.  Your measurements are 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" for the Wild Wasabi paper and 1/4 " smaller (5 1/4" x 4") or the Early Espresso paper.  The Whisper White paper is your top layer measuring 5" x 3 3/4". Stamp the ground with the Wild Wasabi Ink which will give effect of grass. I did two stamping with one above the other. Then you are ready to start on the tree. You will stamp your tree with Sheltering Tree stamp in Early Espresso Ink and follow with stamping the leaves in Wild Wasabi Ink.  The tree has a bike this time which stamped with Memento Black Ink. The bike is stamped in the middle of the tree base. I added red bars  with my Stampin' Write Real Red marker.  All is left is to add your Happy Birthday at the top with your Real Red Ink. The stamp set I chose is greeting Stampin' Up! Remember Your Birthday. Now your card is done.  I have shown the supplies needed below.  Remember with my cards I chose to use a piece of white cardstock measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and folded in half.  This makes it easier to stamp a sentiment inside which can be easily seen.
