It is time to take a card fold trip with beautiful Designer Series Paper. This creation will work with any image stamp set and occasion. It has multiple folds and a hidden little box you make. That box is what makes the Lemon-Lime Twist cardstock stand out.

I needed a card for a friend who is so giving. I used the Plentiful Plants stamp set which is now retired. Again remember you find the greeting that fits your message.

Berry Burst 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, 4 x 5 1/4″, 3″ x 3 1/4″
Fresh Freesia 2 3/4″ x 3″
Lemon-Lime 3″ x 4 1/2″, 3″ x 2 1/4″

Designer Series Paper:

Masterfully Minded 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″

Basic Tools:

Cut and Emboss Machine*

Accessories:

Trimmer
Multipurpose Glue

*This will depend on whether you use a die or a punch.

Steps for this card:

Fold the Berry Burst at 4 1/4″
Fold the left side back at 2 1/8″.
Adhere the DSP strip to the folded back part.
Stamp image all over the 4″ x 5 1/4″ with Berry Burst CS. Then adhere to the card.
With the smaller Lemon-Lime Twist CS score at 3/4″, 1 1/2″, and 2 1/4″. This is the one you fold to make a box. To adhere it together use the tear and tape if you have it. Adhere it has close to the fold without being on it.
Adhere one folded section to the Berry Burst that has the stamped images.
Stamp your inside words on the larger piece of Lemon-Lime CS.
Adhere the larger Lemon-Lime Twist CS onto the top of the box.
Assemble the Berry Burst and Fresh Freesia with your image. Then adhere only on the left side.

Enjoying the Moment

As I prepare for the Holidays I think of all the moments we will enjoy as a family. They are all growing up too quickly. This is particularly true with the youngest ones. I can’t believe Abby is three and Noah will be 5 in March. We need to treasure these moments.

As I viewed the different Stampin’ Up! stamp sets, this verse in Easter Bunny hit a cord. Maybe someone out there is clever enough to use these words to create a Christmas card. For now, the rabbit will need to do the job.

2023 – 2025 In Color 1 1/2″ x 4″

Basic Tools:

Trimmer -152392
Cut And Embossing Machine – 149653
Multipurpose Liquid Glue – 110755

Instructions:

Fold Basic White to 4 1/4″.
Adhere the Boho Blue CS to the front of the card.
Adhere the Balmy Blue CS to the center of the card. (On top of Boho Blue)
Adhere the DSP to the White CS at the bottom of the card. (See photo) You will see about 1 1/2″.
Stamp the words Enjoy All The Little Moments to the bottom left side of the Basic White CS.
Adhere to the center of the card.
Stamp the clouds in Memento Black on Basic White (You will need all 3)
Run the clouds you just stamped on through the Cut And Emboss Machine using the Playing In the Rain Dies. (set aside)
Stamp the Bunny in Memento Black on Basic White.
Run Bunny through the Cute And Emboss Machine using the Playing In The Rain Dies.
Color the Jacket in Lemonade Lolly Blend.
Color the ears and nose in the Bubble Bath with the Blends.
Adhere a dimensional to the back of the Bunny.
Adhere to the right side of the words. (see photo)
Adhere the clouds over the words and Bunny. (see photo)

Preparing for Next Year

Once the Christmas cards are sent it will be time to review what cards you need for next year. This way you will be prepared for all the new exciting stamps. However, we don’t want to discard the Annual Catalog. I find an important stamp set in my stamp sets is the Cottage Wreath.

I am still in need of Birthday cards. So I reached for a favorite stamp set….. Cottage Wreath. This is a great stamp set for a wide variety of occasions and different seasons.
