Cute as a Bug

This card is a simple cute card. However, it requires the Cut and Emboss Machine. I was using the Scalloped Contour Dies last week for a future project. I thought it was perfect to frame the Ladybug. Naturally, it needed to be on a leaf. So stamped the leaves in Parafeet Party. So often we use Old Olive or Mossy Meadow but want a bright color.

What Is the Angle?

I decided to change it up a bit on the card. How many times do create a card with the images straight? I decided to angle the images. So the next time you create why not angle your image? Notice it is also the cardstock and not just the image.

This card can be for any occasion. Another one to put in the drawer and stamp the greeting inside when you need it.

Special Note: I put the flowers accidentally up higher than I planned. So there is room for a greeting.

Card Fold Monday

I thought starting the week with a Card Fold would be fun. This is a Double Card Fold Triangle. It is relatively simple as you start with two 4 1/4″ x 11″ of cardstock. So choose the color according to your Designer Series Paper. I chose the new Bubble Bath with the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper.

You fold each of the long cardstock at 5 1/2″. Then it is a matter of diagonal cuts. Point to point in the cut groove. The Designer Series Paper is cut 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Then cut on a diagonal. You will flip over one side of it.

I did a strip of DSP for the inside on Basic White cardstock. To finish the card, I stamped the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set with the larger daisy image in Bubble Bath and cut it out. The center was stamped with Pecan Pie. I used dimensional on one side of the Daisy. See Photo.
