No, I am not talking about cardstock, but the beautiful Designer Series Paper. If you look at Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper, you will notice a sheet with multiple images. I picked one and hand-cut it out. So this card focuses on the paper. I did put a greeting at the bottom. This is a Clean and Simple card.

Think about the occasions you could use this idea. Considering changing the Designer Series Paper you use. I have another card idea using the Designer Series Paper as a focus on Thursday.

I have a brand new stamp set to share with you. Can you tell which stamp set it is by the title? It is Seasonal Branches. I just love this small bird with the branches. This stamp has choices of what you can put on the branches. There are leaves, flowers, and berries stamps and dies for them. Along with some nice greetings. I see one greeting that is more of a sentiment that would work beautifully for a Sympathy card. It uses the word “Sheltered”.

You will find I used a new color Boho Blue. I wanted the card to be colorful so I used Parakeet Party for the leaves. When you want texture for the background grab an embossing folder. So the Crumb Cake was embossed with Time Worn. Special note about the bird. It was stamped in Night of Navy because the Boho Blue didn’t show up on the cardstock.

Bringing Sunshine

This turtle is bringing a ray of sunshine with his Daisy. When I got up this morning, it was gloomy again and rainy. I wish the rain would stay away. So this card I made yesterday is perfect for this day.

I absolutely love Playing in the Rain stamp set. I am so happy that it was continued in the new catalog. You have three choices of animals to create with. Plus the dies. Don’t forget the clouds which you can use on other projects.

Did any of you use it as a Mother’s Day card? It looks like the turtle is giving someone a flower. Because the turtle is so cheery it would make a beautiful Get Well card.
