For the cat lovers out there, I think is card is perfect. If you watch your cat they seem to end up in various positions. How they get there I don’t know, but their antics will make you laugh.

So enjoy the Stampin’ Up! Love Cats stamp set in the new Mini Catalog. I chose the one “Head over heels about you.” It is dangling a heart and I presume it is asking you to be my Valentine.

Bringing Hearts to You

Now is the time to prepare for Valentine’s Day. Whether it is a friend or love ones, Valentine’s cards bring smiles to everyone’s face. You have so many choices from Stampin’ Up! this year. For a friend leave the front blank or use a greeting “For a Friend”. Then put “Happy Valentine’s Day” inside the card.

This card today does have the “Happy Valentine’s Day”. I am thinking perfect for a daughter or Mother. So start creating today. I love the Country Floral Lane Suite. I used the Sweet Sorbet in the Suite instead of Real Red, but I switched out the Mint Macron for Garden Green. The Mint Macron didn’t have enough color.

This card could be a Clean and Simple card if you choose a different way to do the greeting. You would need to fussy cut out the hearts.

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This is the exciting time of year when we receive the new Mini Catalog and the bonus of a free Stampin’ Up! product. For me, it is the chance to showcase a project with the Pals in the Blog Hop. I chose the Adorable Owls stamp set with a twist. It is Valentine’s card.

I used Stampin’ Up! Blend Brushes to create the background behind the Aspen Tree Dies. Starting at the bottom is Granny Green followed by Sweet Parakeet. Then use Balmy Blue and follow with Orchid Oasis and another round of Balmy Blue. Remember to blend the colors together.
