All About Color

Today I want to focus on something very important.  Color.  Without color, our projects are drab and uninteresting. Stampin’ Up! gives us a wonderful variety of colors and tomorrow we get new colors. How exciting to have them.  Yes, tomorrow is the release of the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.  In the back, you will find a Color Week to help you coordinate colors.  Many of you struggle to figure out what colors to use with each one.  Remember we still have the color information on the Designer Series Paper.

Don’t be afraid to try new techniques.  I have given you some ideas below.  also, this link on my website for some videos you might want to try.  Click Here

  • Coloring Medium: Make a point to use Stampin’ Write Markers, Stampin’ Blends, Watercolor Pencils, Soft Pastels, Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills, etc.
  • Coloring Technique:
  • : Focus on a specific technique like watercoloring, sponging, brayering, marbling, wet wipes, and more.
  • Color Family Showcase: Focus on a particular color family (Brights, Subtles, Neutrals, Regals, or In Colors).
  • Basic Color Theory: Use the amazing color wheel in the catalog, try out the monochromatic, complementary, analogous, and triadic combos, and explain them to your customers.

Have fun stamping!
