The focus is on Sale-a-bration products for January Blog hop. When I saw the Lily Pad in the Sale-a-bration brochure I knew I had to have it. It is one you can get free with a $50 order for the stamp set and $100 will get you the framelit dies for the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set.

The reason I wanted it without question is at my old house we had a pond with a waterfall. It had Lily Pads and Koi fish. I would often see dragonflies fluttering around the pond outside my crafting room window. It was so soothing to hear the water.

The colors I am working with are Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride. I am waiting for my Occasions order to come in. It has my Ink Refill for Petal Pink. So I went with Blushing Bride and I think it came out quite pretty. The dragonfly is supposed to be a leaf I think, but to me looks like a dragonfly. You decide for yourself.

Connecting with Stamping

For me stamping is about connecting with others and developing beautiful friendships. This stamp set embodies friendships and acknowledging them on their special day. Fresh Start with New Ideas

I trust everyone had a great Holiday and are eager to start stamping. We have so much going on with the new Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration with all the free products. It is so nice to stretch the dollar with wonderful free products. I have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes and plan for this to be the best stamping year. I am going to try something new by rewarding those that read my blog. Once a month I will create a special board for that month. Then I will be adding cards/projects that are not seen anywhere else. They are secret boards and will need to know the title of the board. The title doesn’t relate to anything in particular. I will announce it occasionally on my blog and in my newsletter. However, you need to watch for it and write it down someplace. I thought I would share a photo of a project I did for Christmas. I made fudge for everyone to take home. So I used the pizza boxes and decorated them. Each person had it their place setting including the grandchildren. However, for the grandchildren, I had done sugar cookies decorated with reindeer antlers.
