Time Saving Technique

Today is a very quick and easy technique that will save you time when you want to create multiple cards with your dies.  All you need is your dies, cardstock, and Painter’s Tape.  By using Painter’s Tape, it will not stick to your cardstock and ruin it.

Don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter. The monthly one will go out later today.

Hello Sunshine

This cheery card should brighten someone’s day.  I think we all love to receive a bright and cheery card.  You can do that with the Painted Poppies.  It is a matter of stamping them and coloring them with the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Delight Blends.  To add more focus I stamped a single Poppy and framed it with Rectangle stitched Dies.

You will find creating this card is very simple to do. Don’t let the idea of die-cutting scare you. Stampin’ Up! will have their new Cut and Emboss Machine coming up on September 1st.

Notice I did not put a greeting on this card. I was not sure what I wanted it for.  A Hello would be perfect for it.

On The Fence

Have you ever been on the fence on whether to get a stamp set or not? I was and then I bought the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments stamp set.  I have fallen in love with this stamp set.  You will create beautiful moments with the stamps in this set.

It is so simple to use and then dress it up if you want.  Simply stamp with Memento Black Ink and color with the Blends.  Notice with this card I used the Ornate Layer Dies which created a beautiful frame for the image. However, I didn’t stop there because I used the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Can you tell me what color that was embossed in?  Soft Sea Foam cardstock was used. I love it when it is used with Mint Macaron.

Don’t forget to read my news after the supply information. Remember a link to all these supplies is always at the bottom of the post.
