Holidays Are Coming

The Holidays are coming and now is the time to prepare. My mother taught me years ago to prepare for the Holidays as you go along. This meant to shop when you find an item and store away. Mother’s attic was always full of Christmas surprises. I have done the same thing and started my Christmas shopping for my grandsons. I find this leaves me more time to prepare for the Holidays and gives me a chance to stamp more. This means Christmas cards are done early and I enjoy the festives.

So I have found several stamp sets that I am in love with, but one is going to be a go to for a variety of occasions. It is Cup of Christmas. Don’t let the name fool you. The cups will be perfect for birthdays, thinking of you, and get well cards.

Do You Dare to Make This Card?

Today’s card is on the type of card you are creating. Many of us it in a rut of creating the same type or style of card. You can change it up without making it difficult. This video will help you make a simple change that will add more interest to your creation. So I daring you to create this card and create more cards using this style.

This card starts as an normal A2 card (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″). It is when you trim it that makes it different. This helps make the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper standout. However, the whole suite is a standout with the Spooktacular Bash stamp set, the Ornate Frames Dies, ribbon, embossing folder and Monster Enamel Shapes.

In the case of my card, I used a retired stamp set for the spider web. No worries. Just use the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp Set. I chose for the inside creating the “Celebrate if you Dare” from The Raven Stamp Set, but you could use Wonderfully Wicked stamp set. Adding Sparkle to a Dream

Whether you are young or old, we all can use a little sparkle in our lives. For those that are dreaming or pursuing a dream a little encouragement doesn’t hurt. Sending the unicorn from Leaving a Little Sparkle stamp set will brighten one’s day.
