I want to wish you a Happy New Year. I have made quite a few changes since my last blog. A lot of information was detailed in my Monthly newsletter that is going out today. I will be having class at my home every month. This includes Beginner classes which give you the basic information about stamping and supplies. You will have a chance to stamp. In Another Time of Magic

When I saw this stamp set in the new Occasions Catalog, I had to have it. This stamp is so unique in my book. I had nothing in my collection of stamps. The closest would be the mermaid which turned out to be a seller at my craft shows. This stamp set called Magical Day will work for boys and girls. It is something everyone who loves unicorns, knights, wizards, and dragons.

This set is the one I used for Hayden’s fifth birthday on Sunday. I can’t believe he turned five. I used the dragon and the knight along with the Large Numbers die. Then colored the dragon and knight with the Blends. Simple and easy. You can find the unicorn in the newsletter today as a PDF.

I want to let you know this will be the last post of 2017 unless you are getting the Twelve Weeks of Christmas which will go out on Wednesday. I am doing this because many of you are still trying to get ready for Christmas with your family as I am still preparing. Plus, this will give me the break I need to prepare for an exciting New Year which includes an Open House on January 23rd. It will be FREE and you will go away with completed projects. So stay tuned for more details. Also, reminder Beginner classes will start January 6th.

By the way, I have not had the opportunity to tell you that on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago, I had a wonderful experience and lots of fun. I was asked to help with a Christmas activity. I hate to put the word charity to it and rather think Santa’s Helper. Redtop Foundation gives children a chance to shop for their families at Walmart. This year the children had seventy dollars to spend on their family. I had an adorable third grader to help her get presents for her family. Then helped her wrap them and then Santa made an appearance with gifts for that child.

Take a Second Look

As we wrap up an exciting year of Stampin’ Up!, I think a look back is appropriate. So I am looking at some of my favorite stamps for the Holidays. The first one is out of the Annual Catalog. It is Santa’s Sleigh. It has numerous parts t which means use the sleigh only or the reindeer alone or as I did in this card altogether. Don’t forget to just use the tree.

The Holiday Catalog made it so difficult to choose, but I am going to choose Season Like Christmas stamp set. It is a versatile stamp in that everyone likes a Christmas Tree. You just need to figure out the background to showcase it. There is an added plus to this stamp set in that is a quick easy stamp to use regardless of your stamping level. The sad part is that it is retiring December 31st.
