It’s Party Time with the Sparkle

2016badge-watermelon

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for December 2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog Hop monthly themes.  This month our projects showcase products that can add sparkle and/or shine for a finishing touch. We hope to provide you with lots of ideas and that you enjoy our creations.

You may just be starting the Blog Hop or may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

It is time to let the season sparkle!  Snowy Medallions will help celebrate Christmas, New Years, or a birthday. I did the medallion two ways.  One is Dazzling Diamonds embossing powder and the other was the Silver Dazzling Diamonds Embossing Powder. I have no idea which one is more dazzling. You decide.

A Breath of Fresh Air

Stampin’ Up! Birthday card made with Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and designed by Demo Pamela Sadler. See more cards at stampinkrose.com #stampinkpinkrose #etsycardstrulyheart

To me the dragonflies are a breath of fresh air.  I know we need to wait awhile to see them again., but Stampin’ Up! is reintroducing them.  We have a dragonfly in Awesomely Artistic stamp set,  but this one is still different.  The Occasions Catalog 2017 has Dragonfly Dreams with a thinlit dies. It comes with three dragonflies and four dragonflies connected as if they are in flight.  So today I am doing the individual dragonfly.  It is double cut meaning I used the intricate cut and stamped the wings separately. They had to be cut out.  I like the effect it gives.  For a different look at the Dragonfly Dreams stamp, look at my Facebook post https://www.facebook.com/stampinpinkrose/
