Sending a Bird Your Way

A few weeks ago I made this card for P. Buckley Moss’s birthday. Her favorite color is purple. Oh, just in case you don’t know her she is famous for mostly Amish like scenes and people. She has done different ones like one of my favorites a girl reading a book under a tree. As a young girl you would find me often reading a book under a tree. I would go through 5 to 8 books in a week. I only wish I had more time to read. The one below is one of my new ones. As you can see it has not bend hung yet. I have a couple more than need to be framed and then I will get my handyman over to hang them.

I was reminded of this card at our last meeting of P Buckley Moss. She comes in different times to Des Moines like the IPTV Celebration and she will be back in the Fall. Our group always has a dinner for her. We are all invited to Virginia in July for a get-together. Here are some photos of our luncheon in May. We had over seventy people attended and a great auction. Each of us created a table for our guest. Their were seven at my table. I bought another one of your paintings.
