Colors Make a Statement

So if colors make a statement for your card. Are you making a statement? This is part of the reason that makes your projects stand out. However, we all gravitate to certain colors. It may be specific colors or shades of that color. Then there are ones we rarely use. Stampin’ Up! helps us in two ways. One is the beautiful designer series with a mired of colors and then continues to help us by listing the colors. This is especially true of the Lily Impression Paper. It has tons of colors reaching out to us. I used a color that I rarely use… Grapefruit Grove. It ties perfectly with the Lily Impression Designer Series Paper that I chose. Notice I used the Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental Stamp set It has lots of greetings for a wide variety of occasions. Sweet and Simple Card Fold

With having a lot of new stampers and others of us are just plain busy, it is great to be able to create a beautiful card that is unique. Yet we don’t want anything complicated. Stamp Set for the Words: I chose Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around in the Annual Catalog, but you could choose a multiple of Stampin’ Up! word stamps.

This is are a recap of Facebook Live today. I hope you enjoyed the One Sheet Wonder idea with your cardstock. It is great to use one sheet of cardstock and to follow it up with another piece.

I used one stamp set from the Mini Catalog and another from Sale-a-bration. The Sale-a-bration stamp set helped me create a background for all the cards.

Stamp Set: Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental with the matching dies. The dies are called Stitched So Sweetly. Using the label part of the die creates a focus for your greeting. The second stamp set I used was Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and a die from the Lily Pad Dies. You could fussy cut out the flower. Ink: The same colored ink was used on all the cards. I used Blueberry Bushel which ties into one of the cardstock colors I choose.

With the exception of one card, I used the same cardstock on all the cards. Pool Party and Blueberry Bushel.
