Facebook Live Recap

This is are a recap of Facebook Live today.  I hope you enjoyed the One Sheet Wonder idea with your cardstock.  It is great to use one sheet of cardstock and to follow it up with another piece.

I used one stamp set from the Mini Catalog and another from Sale-a-bration.   The Sale-a-bration stamp set helped me create a background for all the cards.

Stamp Set:  Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental with the matching dies.  The dies are called Stitched So Sweetly.  Using the label part of the die creates a focus for your greeting. The second stamp set I used was Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and a die from the Lily Pad Dies.  You could fussy cut out the flower.  To order these supplies and get making your own fabulous cards Online Store

Ink:  The same colored ink was used on all the cards.  I used Blueberry Bushel which ties into one of the cardstock colors I choose.

With the exception of one card, I used the same cardstock on all the cards. Pool Party and Blueberry Bushel.

Here is the Template for making the cards.  You can make 3 more cards with these cuts.

Time to Sponge with Multiple Inks

Technique Wednesday is sponging with multiple colors.  This will create a stunning background for your scene. Best of all it is easy to do and takes very little supplies.  All you need is ink, paper, and some sponges.

I used Stampin’ Up! Let It Ride stamp set.  However, you can use whatever stamp set you want. Plus, you can use as many colors as you like.

Stampin’ Up! Ink Colors:  Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue

The sun was colored using Mango Mango.  I changed the sun size by changing the circle punch to 1 3/8. I think that size is much better.

I colored the horses with the Crumb Cake Marker.

If you would like another idea using a stamp set from the Mini Catalog 2020, subscribe to my newsletter.

Reminder Facebook Live Jan. 30th at 6:30 CST.
