Need a Cute Card

Sometimes we need a fun cute card and I think this one qualifies.  I dug out an older stamp set that I just love and best of all it is not retiring. I am referring to Stampin’ Up! Back On Your Feet stamp set.  I used Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder because it reminds me of the turtle’s shell.

In case you are new to this stamp set,  the turtle is supposed to be upside down.  I had a friend ask about it one time.  She thought I goofed on the stamping.

Can We Have a Little Sparkle?

In this time we are in, I think we need a little sparkle.  Time is running together and occasions are passing us by.  I know we can’t recoup these moments, but let us remember to celebrate the special moments.  Some of us care to forget our birthdays, but not everyone feels that way.  I think it especially true of the younger ones.  So here is one for the younger ones or those that are young at heart.

I think this card qualifies for a clean and simple card as it just needs stamping and coloring. You will have this card made in no time. I used the Itty Bitty Greeting which I find extremely valuable in my stamp collection.

The stamp set I used here is one that is retiring and I am sorry to see it go.  It is called “Leave a Little Sparkle” which is what I did with Wink of Stella.  I had some gold ink and I stamped some stars with it. Also, I don’t know if you can tell that I stamped the other image in the set all over the card.

Let’s Create a Fold with the Poppies

Today’s card is a Tri-Fold card that can be created with any stamp set you want.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies.  You will find all measurements below the video.

 

Measurements:

Base:  Black 4 1/4″ x 11″

Score at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″

White Panels 2 of them 2 1/2″ x 4″ and the other is 4 x 5 1/4″

Emboss the smaller ones with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.

The smaller piece is 3″ x 11″ Black piece

The White piece is 2 3/4″ x 10 3/4″

Emboss the left side 6″ with the Brick Wall.  On the right side stamp your sentiment (greeting). Adhere to the black piece and this piece together.  Score the embossed side at 3″ and 6″.

Add the Poppies you have cut out with the Peaceful Moments Dies to the far left panel. See Photo.

Adhere this panel to the card base on the left end and to the right end.
