If you are one that had a boy or girl go off to college, I imagine you have shed a tear or two. Maybe this is the last one to leave the house. Okay, it is time to think of the positives.

one less dinner plate
one less load of laundry
one less activity to go to
No school Conference
No more drama

Okay, I know you miss some of these things, but think of what you gain

More time to pursue your stamping,

So when you are pursuing your stamping create a card for that boy or girl who has left the house. One of the stamps I have found the teenagers or young adults love are the animals. I get the periodic request for a cute animal. I just ordered the Postcard Pals, but today I am using Hedgehugs. It has the cutest squirrel. Remember they love their independence, but love getting the mail.

Do You Want to Add Some Shimmer?

The Holiday season is upon us. So whether you are doing Christmas or Halloween, you need to add some shimmer and I have just the item. In the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog is Shimmer Paint and it is so easy to use. A few drops with Rubbing Alcohol with the Shimmer Paint and you sparkle. I used them on the bats. Aren’t they adorable? Mine just came in and I am loving it. In fact, I just ordered two more colors. There are four different colors to choose from. Because you need such a small amount, it will stretch for all your holiday uses.

Today’s card is a hint of what you will see on my Facebook Live Monday (September 10th) at 4 o’clock (CT). So join me for the Holiday Catalog Stroll plus Holiday ideas. However, I can do you one better by coming to My Party. I am celebrating the completion of the basement. So there is NO Charge because it is my party. I do need to issue an apology because I left something out of my newsletter. I mention my bear incident on my vacation. My friends and rented our usual house in Estes Park. We do this every summer over Labor Day. Mary Ann and I love the Craft Show. Anyway, I was looking for something in my car parked in the driveway. I turned and looked because I felt something watching me. It was a medium size Black Bear. Here is a picture as he wandered away.

IT Has Started!

The Holiday Catalog has started and I have been working with it the last month (benefit of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator). I can’t say enough about how wonderful it is. I do have a simple card to show you. It is not the Holiday card., They will be coming. I just got back from vacation and how a wonderful time. The break in the Rocky Mountains with friends is just what I needed. Here is a picture of them. We rent a house with this Bed and Breakfast every year. Mary Ann and I played a golf together. Over the next few weeks, I will show you some photos I took in the mountains.

Back to stampin’. I need to make some announcements. Facebook Live was planned for Friday at 4 o’clock will be moved to Monday at 4 o’clock (September 10th). Also, plan on attending my Party. I will be having it on Sunday, September 16th from 1 o’clock to 4 o’clock in my Clive home. So while the men are watching football come have some fun. There will be lots of prizes. I will be posting more information on it very shortly. There is no charge. I know you are wondering if it is worth it because I am not charging. That is because it is my party. I am celebrating the basement is done and I am getting back on track. You will get a chance to play with all the new Stampin’ Up! tools, see Holiday projects and make some. Plus pick up your FREE Catalog. So plan on a fun afternoon. Now for today’s card which is super simple.
