Time for a Lullaby for Baby

I am over the moon with the Moon Baby stamp set.  It has the most adorable images and words to put on that special baby card.  It is in the 2017 Occasions Catalog.  My hope is that continues into the new Annual Catalog.  You can make this baby card as simple as you want or as complicated as you want.  However, I am making a Clean and Simple card for you which is perfect for Paper Player’s Challenge. Tips and Tricks

Stamp Set:  This adorable baby is sleeping among the stars on the moon.  This came out of the 2017 Occasions Catalog.  Remember with every $50 y ou can get a free product from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure. However, this ends March 31st.  So you need to hurry!

  • Moon Baby

Colors:  I colored it in pink, but of course you can change it to blue or make it neutral.  Think about coloring the baby’s pajmas in Mint Macaron or Pool Party.

  • Blushing Bride
  • Daffodil Delight

Ink:  Stamp the image and that color.

  • Archival Black

Paper:  Because I did a baby girl card, I used Blushing Bride and the image on Whisper White card stock.

  • Whisper White card stock
  • Blushing Bride  card stock
  • Daffodil Delight card stock

Embellishment:  With a baby girl we need the femine touch.  So I added the Very Vanilla Lace to each side of the white card stock. Does this make it so sweet?  You could use it for a boy or add strips of Silver Glimmer Paper to each side.

  • Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim

Accessories:  Remember your accessories are the tools that help make your card stand out.

  • Water Colored Pencils
  • Blender Pen
  • Confetti Stars Border Punch

Tips and Tricks

Stamp:  I love the versitility the basket brings to our stamping. This sets has the eggs, but also the flowers.  Today I put the chocolate covered rabbit in the basket with some Easter eggs.

  •  Basket Bunch

Color: When you choose colors think of the mood you are trying to create.  To me spring means light and airy which makes it cheery. So what looks do you think of for Easter? Afterall, it is spring.

Paper: Mint Macaron offers a breath of spring. Now what other colors have you seen for Easter? Think about those colored eggs.

  •  Mint Macaron
  • Eggplant
  • Tip Top Taupe
  • Chocolate Chip
  • Whisper White
  • Sweet Sugarplum

Speciality Paper:

  • Glimmer Paper (Mint Macaron)
  • So Succulent

Ink: Whatever color you want for the eggs.

  • Sweet Sugarplum

Bundle:  Remember you save 10% when you bundle.

  • Basket Builder Framelit Dies

Accessories:  Always to try to add a pop of something extra like an embossing folder.

  • Petal Burst Embossing Folder
