Dies Can Make the Card

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “Wonderful Cards/Projects from the Garden” where our design team showcase projects from things found in a garden, such as flowers, vegetables, fruits, or even a garden scene. We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. Once you finish here, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Have you noticed the new dies that create help with the background or change the structure of the card?  Okay, maybe you are puzzled by what I am talking about. So for example, Color and Contours give a location to place your cut-out image as opposed to the Basic Borders will change the structure of the card.  Today’s card does just that changes the structure of the card. Notice the edge and how I made this card a folded card. I didn’t want just a straight edge.  By using the Basic Borders I have added more interest to my card.

There are 6 dies in the Basic Border Dies.  This gives you a chance to create a special cut or cut the die and apply it to your card. I personally think this one is just plain fun to play with and see what you can create.

Sending a Smile

Do you know what will bring a smile to someone’s face? Sending a card with greenery is always perfect.  Even trees can bring a smile.  I have found trees on my card-selling site have been very popular.  So when Stampin’ Up! came out with the Beauty of Friendship stamp bundle, I was thrilled. It was one of the first stamp sets I ordered.  It has been great to see how many stamp sets have their own bundle.  The dies make cutting a breeze.  Then adding an embossing folder makes it stand out.

I hope that those that are new to stamping will not be intimated by the cutting of dies.  It is so easy to do. Here is a video all about the plates you will use.  Cut and Emboss Machine’s Plates Video

If you would like to order it or have questions, I am always available for you.  Order in July and receive a special gift from me.  Email me with your questions http://pamela@stampinpinkrose.com or Order Here

Don’t read my special message below the card details.

Send A Plant

When was the last time you sent a plant? A plant is always a perfect card. So send them a card with the Plentiful Plants stamp set and bundle. I used the “Thank You” for the greeting, but this can be easily changed.  Just use the beautiful Bloom Where You Are Planted Designer Series Paper. You can even cut out the plant pots.
