Christmas Is My Time

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and to me, it means a time to be jolly.  So be of good cheer and start creating your Christmas cards.  Stampin’ Up! has given us so many choices of stamps and bundles.  I love having the punches and dies.  Today’s card video uses punches. No Glue Mess Today

Welcome to Technique Wednesday on Thursday.  You will find our technique videos on Thursday during the Holiday Season which has started now for me.  We are reviewing a previous technique that bears repeating.  It is using that Silicone Mat that you have tucked away somewhere.

Today’s card on my newsletter uses the So Many Stars stamp set and Stitched Stars Dies.   The one you are seeing in the video is very intricate and can be difficult to glue.  Using this technique makes gluing it a breeze.  Make sure you subscribed to my newsletter.

This is a stamp set you will use beyond the Holidays.  Watch for the coming weeks for a birthday card using this die. You order your own set by clicking here  https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/default.aspx      Also, for the month of October a very special offer to help you sail through Christmas.  October Special Offer I am offering the month of October 2 different PDFS for every $50 you spend in my Online Store.  No, it doesn’t need to be Christmas products.  You can collect however many different PDFS you want from me. Time to Hop to Our favorite Season

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here because we made some great projects for “My Favorite Season”  – showcasing our favorite stamps and supplies for our holiday project.  You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

On Monday I mention the background and having different choices. So Monday’s focus was using the embossing folder and today’s is using a stamp set as a background.  I chose the Birch stamp set for the background.  In order to get the Birch going the right way, you will need to line it up to stamp twice.  I used my Stamparatus and the seam is virtually hidden.

Three stamp sets are used, but there are two stamp sets for images because I liked the cabin in Rustic Retreat.  Stamped with Early Espresso and had a little Sea Spray already on the stamp. I think it gives an interesting effect.
