Dressing in Style with Custom Tee

As the weather changes toward Spring, so does our wardrobe.  Therefore, I thought it would be fun to look at the Custom Tee stamp set in the Occasion Catalog with the framelit.  So today’s stamp addresses decorating that fabulous tee. This fabulous shirt could be a congratulation or a birthday card. You decide.

However, I want to notify you that the Facebook Live that was planning for March 6th has been postponed.  Please watch for announcements of the new date for Facebook Live.

Tips and Tricks

Stamp Set:  We are in the middle of basketball tournments and baseball will not be far off.  So the champ needs a T-Shirt that says “All-Star Champ”  which comes from Custom Tee Stamp Set.  The various words on this stamp make it easy to create t-shirt’s for different occasions. To add some pizzazz to the card I added Gorgeous Grunge and Moon Baby‘s stars. We are just around the corner from our retirement list and I hope Gorgeous Grunge doesn’t retire out. I forgot to mention that used a stamp from Work of Art. Can you tell where I stamped it?  It is behind the t-shirt.

Paper:  The base is black card stock and Whisper White card stock holds the action.

Bundle:  The T-Shirt Builder Framelit Dies make it easy to create your shirt for a male of female.

Color: I tied the colors together by using the Marine Mist for the t-shirt and the grunge. The stars were a bonus and I used Daffodil Delight.  I felt the stars fit right in because of the words “All Star Champ.” The use of Archival Black for the words tied to the black card stock base.

Ink: Marine Mist, Daffodil Delight, Archival Black

Creative Side:  Now that I started the t-shirt, you can start by thinking of other ways to use this stamp set.

  •    birthday
  •    anniversary
  •    Father’s Day
  •     wedding

I have another idea on my Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/stampinpinkrose

This card is a birthday card and uses Dragonfly Dreams and Avant Garden which is part of the Sale-a-Bration which you get FREE with a $50 order. The main color is Rich Razzleberry. Speaking of FREE Items. Finally, my Stampin’ Up! order arrived late last night.  Can you believe UPS lost the order because someone forget to put the tracking number in Colorado?  It was moving through the system. I don’t know how or whether it was a computer entry problem. The delivery was suppose to be Monday. Anyway it is here and I am eager to start on the new Free items plus a couple of new (new to me) stamps.

Stamp Set:  Dragonfly Dreams and the Dragon Thinlits which has the ability to make a wide variety of cards and other projects.  The words on this stamp set give a variety of thoughts such a friendship, thanks, and a birthday. The new Avant Garden is a great flower to use whether on its own or with another stamp set.

Paper:  The card stock I chose was Rich Razzleberry and tied it to the dragonfly and the flowers. You always need to tie your ink to the base even if it is just a small amount of  color used in the card.

Colors: Rich Razzleberry is your main color. I used just a little Old Olive for the leaves. The Tempting Turquiose was an accent color which added a little brightness to the color. Notice I used only a small amount of this color. You don’t want to distract fom your main focal point.

Ink:  Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise

Bundle:  Dragonfly Thinlits Die (Remember you save 10% when you bundle with the stamp set)
