Think Favorite Thing

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “My Favorite Things.” The Design Team will be showcasing their favorite products from any of the current products and you might even see some sneak peeks, as well! We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

When they asked for “My Favorite Things” that left it wide open.  Boy is that a loaded question because I love it all. Stampin’ Up! has phenomenal products.  However, one that makes your product special is the Speciality/Designer paper.  I love playing with the Rainbow Glimmer Paper.  It is a rainbow of colors.  You can use one color or multiple colors. I used the multiple colors on the Speciality Paper.  Then I paired the Sunflower Dies.

Not A Christmas Card

I am back, but not with a Christmas card.  I decided to curl up with the Annual Catalog and see what I have not used in a while.  I stopped at Mountain Air stamp set.  It has been around for a while, but if you know me you know I love the mountains.  I thought it would be fun to use that stamp set.  The only problem was I grabbed some Designer Series Paper that is not current. In fact, I don’t know where it came from but guess what.  The green pattern paper in the Tidings of Christmas is very similar.

This card is a perfect example to case.  If you have not heard the term, case means to take the idea and turn it into your own.  When you case, you take the image (stamp set) and change a few elements.  It can be paper or a die. You may choose to use another image which could be done here.

Before I tell you about the card, I thought I tell you about the Craft Show.  It was wonderful and as of right now that is my last show of the season.  I sold a wide variety of items (cards, gift items, and my soaps, lotion).  So now I am trying to get on a schedule again.  I will be having more information coming up about my December Schedule.
