This is our Technique for Wednesday which is on Thursday during the Holidays. We are looking at the Still Scenes and creating a Snow Globes. This is just our basics of creating the snow globes. They are quick and simple to create.

Looking At Something Special

We are going to take a journey with a special stamp set. I am referring to the Still Scenes stamp set. You can use it in three ways. Without the dome, the dome with sprinkles, and with glisten. I have shown you without the dome and today’s card is with the dome. Then our technique this week will show you the process with the dome on Thursday. The glisten is a liquid that gives a water effect.

Don’t Miss Any of This

This guy is adorable, but no I don’t want snow. We are finally getting temperatures at or above normal. The West is finally willing to share the warmer temperatures. However, I simply love this snowman and I have not played with him a lot.

So I grabbed my favorite Designer Series Paper. Okay, one of them because of all the Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is so beautiful. It is Wrapped in Plaid. It works for just about any occasion besides Christmas. I ended up with scraps that will work for this card.

Now I created two different versions of this card. You decide which one you prefer. The first one the Designer Series Paper is cut smaller and the second one is larger with ribbon. I discovered for the measurements use the centimeter part of the measurements. Each square will be a tad short of 6 x 4. Remember that it is centimeters.
