This is my favorite stamp set because of the versatility of it.  On Monday I showed you the beautiful deer and I don’t have another deer ready for you. It is still on my table, but I do have another image from that stamp set. It is the rabbit.  I tied it to the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  Order this stamp set with your other Stampin’ Up! items as this is a Host set.  Order today  This fits perfectly with our crazy weather.

We received our first snowfall which doesn’t normally happen in October on Tuesday. We should be in the ’50s and another dusting this evening.  It is too early for this!

Quick and Simple

Yesterday I showed you the deer in Nature’s Beauty and today I have another deer.  This deer doesn’t come from a stamp set, but rather it is a die. In fact, the whole card requires no stamp set.  You heard right no stamp set.  We are using our die-cutting machine because we are cutting and embossing.

So let us dash into this quick and simple card. Even if you are a beginner and have a die cutting machine you will have this card done in no time.  It is a matter of cutting the deer out from Detailed Deer Die and embossing the wreath from Seasonal Wreath.

Designer Series Paper:

  • Your choice of DSP.  Wrapped in Plaid has the Garden Green to work with. I used a piece of scrape DSP.

Deer Can Be Perfect

I seem to be having a theme on my cards this week. It is deer. We will see if it continues.  Today’s deer card could be for any occasion.  I discovered this weekend at the craft show I was running low on Sympathy cards.  So I pulled out Nature’s Beauty stamp set. It is a Host one at the back of the catalog.  I really love this stamp set.  I chose the deer.

Next, I grabbed the Woodlands Embossing Folder.  It is a staple in my embossing basket.  Instead of Whisper White, I went with Very vanilla cardstock.  Then added Merry Merlot cardstock.

Remember you can use this for Get Well, Birthday, or Thank You cards. I went back to the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set for the words. I wanted small “With Sympathy” words.
